About about…

So, if you haven’t noticed, there are some changes around here.  This isn’t a re-design; this is an entirely new blog.  I decided to take my archives offline… not because I feel like I have something to hide, but rather because I wanted a fresh start.

That said, now I’m gonna steal an old idea of mine to start the “About” section.  Instead of writing an entire section and editing, I just created it as a category and will post to it occasionally, so I’ll slowly build up a database of “about”-ish stuff.

Basic stuff:

Name:  Michael

Goes by:  mikey, mikeynerd, nerdboy

Lives in:  Las Vegas, NV

Lives with:  Joelle and Lulu

Job:  yes, I have one, but I’m not talking about it here; are you crazy?

Beliefs:  Science.  I’m open to the idea of *a* God, but if there is a God, then I’m sure he’s nothing like we imagine him to be.

One weird quirk:  I’m both a Star Wars and a Star Trek fan.  Most people are either one or the other, kinda like Elvis vs. the Beatles.  But yes, I like both.  And, by “like”, I mean “am a total geek for”.

I think that’s enough for now.  Like I said, this will get filled in as I think of more stuff to say…
